I can't agree with Richards and Ambrose being 1st picked in best of ODI teams, again different era's give us different opinions I reckon.
Respect your opinion TDK but Viv and Curtly would be 2 of my 1st picked in any format in my lifetime in the last 40 years. Gilchrist is another, far from the best keeper but was solid enough and his batting put him a fair way ahead of Dujon and others. Always rated Alec Stewart.
I loved watching Viv bat in any format. Imagine him playing the T20 format these days. No ground would be big enough for him.
Viv was the dynamo of his era, Kohli is that now. But if I'd have to decide between them it would be Viv every day. A genius.
Agreed.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
M.Waugh A.Gilchrist R.Ponting D.Jones D.Lehmann M.Bevan A.Border S.Waugh (when he was fit to bowl) S.Warne D.K.Lillee G.Mcgrath 12th. Man: Doug Walters
Good team. I’d leave Lehman out and find a spot for Hussey or Hayden. What about Steve Smith? His record is pretty good.
All would be good inclusions. Lehmann gets my nod for: A. South Australian B. Plays spin very well C. Game changer D. Can bowl in a clinch E. He is not Steve Smith
