How do you rate John Butchers performance? For someone out of the AFL system and rated so high, (potential wise) his skill level to me is deplorable.

Competes well when he is switched on as he was in second half. His kicking has never been good, and was why he didn't cut it at AFL level, but can take a grab.

Eagles would be happy with their first half effort and the resultant two points. Especially with 4 or 5 outs including Sinor and Petrenko. Redden is twice the footballer than he was in 2016 (and that is NOT alluding to his weight!) Hayes brothers always seem to save their best for us.

The Dogs didn't throw it in and showed they have something to work on but damn that second quarter was tough to watch.
