I'm quite happy with my $30 @ 2.90 thank you very much
Admittedly South were without doubt the worse team I've seen all year

...Never mind the $90 you cleaned up in friday night texas hold'em! Boy, what a weekend!
Great effort by all the lads today.
Best for South was their runner in the 3rd quarter....displayed great speed and agility

Boo to the scumbag South supporters (there were 2 but one was particularly vicious) hurling abuse to their players as they walked through the race. Gutless effort you bearded feral. .[/quote]
That bearded bloke comes every week to just whinge about umpires and get stuck into the players. Clubs dont need people like that.
Anyway, onto the game. The less said the better. Credit to sturt, as i'll admit i have given them very little credit this year.
Sambo tried hard. Hard to find many others. McGlone did some good things. Havent seen Carlile slaughted like that.
Whilst i'm not going to give up on the season just yet, it's hard not too given the past few weeks in particular.
Reminds far too much of the second half of 2005: unaccountable, uninspired, lack of talk/teamwork, lack of simple skills. I could go on.
Our forward line is a real worry. I'm not sure about the stats, but i wouldnt imagine we would have a bloke who has kicked more than 10 goals for the year. We've played 8 games
It could be a very long year if things dont pick up soon.

2.90 @ Completesports. Whoohoo!
I can only compare the Panthers to the last Bays performance I saw...and they are far, far worse. I actually really felt for them as they came off the ground to absolute silence, bar the bearded turd who shouted abuse at them. Even in our darkest days our core supporters would rally, however disappointed they may have been. The looks on those Panthers' faces said it all - it would not have been a pleasant feeling entering those changerooms. Neither should it be, but nobody needs to cop abuse like that - oh, except for that useless South runner. What drugs was he on?
If the Bays are worse than South then god help the SANFL.

He looked like he was in a daze. I'd love to have been a fly on Pyman's wall at that point!

Re: Scores: South Adelaide vs Sturt - Sunday 3rd June
Great to come away with the points. A few South supporters have tipped their hats to the Blues effort today. That takes a bit of character when your side is struggling as they are, so cheers for that, but I have also read a few comments really berating South's effort today. So what was it? South let us have the win or did we earn it with great slikk and endeavour? There appears to be an indication of both on this forum.
And what exactly did this South runner do? I read on DB.org that he attacked the ball with more vigour than any other Panther today. I am guessing that he lost his head and tried to take possession of a ball that was in play? That's the picture I am getting.
Anyway, well done Blues!

Sturt have unearthed a high quality SANFL coach and their playing list took many people by surprise! South did not let Sturt win, we were beaten by a significantly better side on the day. Souths problems yet again are ongoing for another season!

Thanks Sojourner. I couldn't push you about "the runner incident" could I? I have read so many posts about it, but everybody talks about it like an inside joke, alluding to the crazy hi-jinks of the runner that lost his marbles, without ever actually saying what he did.
Did you see it?
