He must've been this year and then pulled the pin.

Strong rumour but I don't believe this one is happening.

Re: Ch9 AFL Division 4 - 2015
heard that kilburn are asking any player from last year who is going to another club not to put in a clearance yet as they are short the 55 players needed still
my question would be then if these clubs that had to have 55 by 15th feb get that number then in march have say 5-6 from last year go to another club and 3-4 retire they will drop below that number will the league take action or just let it slide ?

you'd think they would have to let it slide considering they have met the deadline.

Re: Ch9 AFL Division 4 - 2015
Yeah but they have to re-register with Kilburn first.
Not as easy as just not putting in a clearance.
The league will allow it and Kilburn can play all the games they like. The League has a $3500 bond as well to ensure a level of security to field 2 teams every Saturday.
If they forfeit a third time not only do they lose their dough they’re out.
I'm not sure if the forfeits apply to A grade only or B grade as well though.

If Kilburn are silly enough to play silly buggers with the 55 players (which I hope they're not) I'd be pretty disappointed if 3 B Grade forefits didn't result in their invitation to play in the SAAFL being revoked.

The strong rumour is that he has been training with them for the last few sessions

Re: Ch9 AFL Division 4 - 2015
I could be wrong about this - but if Westies broke contracts last year by not paying out players, then I don't think their clearances can be denied.
A lot of the interstices of this contract/APPS stuff goes over my head though, so someone else may want to back this up (or tell me I'm full of crap

That could be correct.
A lot of the Brahma players are from there anyway aren't they? So they don't count.
Someone made a good point about those two clubs merging. Are they both tigers?
