Certainly couldn't expect apricot slice deliveries looking like that.

That would require them to actually watch the game.

Dusty would fit in well with that crowd. Knows how to handle a knitting needle, especially after he demonstrated his chopsticks skills at a Melbourne eatery earlier this year.

Great player, but can he lead a club to a a top 4 spot? Hasn't done it at Richmond yet, think he is more of a follower than a leader.

You can't hang that on the bloke, he's surrounded by potato's.

None of Bontempelli, Viney, Steven, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Priddis, Swallow etc have lead their side to a flag yet either, all from sides with less holes and better quality than Richmond. Doubts over Dusty's leadership are fair enough, but I don't think the initial post was a fair example.

Wells linked with Collingwood, Geelong also mentioned but I wouldn't think so.

I said top 4 not a flag, only Viney and Steven haven't done that from the above list.

I think you would get the best out of Dusty as a follower in a club that has excellent leadership (unlike Richmond), rather than being the main man.

No you said "Promised Land" in your first post, which was clearly the one I was referring to. I would have thought that meant Premiership.

Doesnt get more farfetched than this. But Ill be happy if it happens!

No doubt he would really add to your midfield but it would have to mean that Thompson would be gone and really with that much coin you would say it would be hard to keep Lyons and CEY.

Would love this one to happen, but no way known is it that simple.

Firstly, I don't see any recruiting making a difference to Scott Thompson. He's either right physically and keen or he's not. Absolutely based on this year he's in the best 22 and won't cost a lot either.

But Martin is under contract. If we went to Richmond with an offer of Lyons and Ellis-Yolman they'd laugh for weeks. No doubt both would be interesting to Richmond, but one bloke is an out and out star, the other two are potentially handy. Add a first round draft pick though and suddenly there's at least something in it for the tigers. Adelaide might even need to improve what it already has.

Pipe dream IMHO, but he'd be an absolutely brilliant pick up.

Who would have thought I should have been celebrating 2012, 2006, 2005, 2002, and 1993 as the promised land!!!

Hurrah!

Your talking about Richmond here, will probably swap Martin for Van Berlo

Or we could get the AFL to recruit some stars to our club like your mob has done numerous times over the last 23 years.... ;)
