have a look on the confirmed thread
was waiting for that! haha How bout this then, what do people think is the ideal number of trial games and does it vary from year to year, club to club etc.
and internal trials, for or against?
Havens are playing 3, don't think I have ever played that many before.
Don't rate internals.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet *I apologise to Hope Valley people in advance, no offence intended
MR. Beefy, I had 3 blokes last night trying convince me that in the near future Wingfield will be gone and Mt.Carmel College will take over Rosewater oval and Rosewater will move to Wingfield. Surely this isn't the case?
Mt carmel have been trying to buy up all properties next to the school for decades and use the oval for sport. We have a good relationship with them and they use the clubrooms occassionally for school activities. For what is worth we have a 30 year lease on the clubrooms.

I wouldn't put too much trust in your 30 year lease Mr Beefy. Im sure Alberton Utd and Riverside would of had long leases also when they were shoved off of their ground to make way for Port Adelaide

Can't imagine Mt Carmel would have the same buying/pulling power as Port Adelaide!

I couldn't see the council pouring money into the club for upgrades only to turf them out a couple of seasons later.

Interesting, cant imagine CBC's A's would've been towelled up by a brand new team. anyone know?
if they arent playing for points it matters little BFG..CBC will be top 4 this year..couple of great recruits already and a premiership in the B grade for depth..

yeah I know you cant read too much into it, im actually more interested in how good the SPOS team will be.
Two trials is plenty - long season for non professional footballers. A lot of teams crash come finals time. Internals are a good way to work into trials - bit off match practice without causing any damage. No one wants to hurt a team mate. Then again every team has an egomaniac that a few guys would want to take out.
