Missing blokes, but so is everyone at the end of June
Simply not good enough on the day.
On another note, Thurgood kicked bugger all in two games combined against PNU last year. 15 in two games for Dizzies. Reasonable turn around at any rate!
Saw the article yesterday on Adelaidenow about capping player payments to $500 a game. Does anyone else find it ironic that the picture was from Adelaide Uni v Rocs? @ least one of the clubs in the picture doesn't fork out a cent in player payments...
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

*only one
I wonder if the Community Football Board and their Adelaide Uni Mates have a plan to do things about "side benefits" coming from playing football?
Anyone at the Rocs v Districts game on the weekend? What's happened down at the Port this year? Or was the score line reflective of a major revival from ROCS? Pointy end of the season coming up, should be a beauty in divvy 1!

I suspect ROCS have come good and will be very tough to beat from here on. They were very poor against TTG a few weeks back, but have a lot of talent and have obviously got back on track. Port would have missed Thurgood on Saturday. Always hard when your spearhead is out....especially when the opposition's main man kicks 9. Henley's season will be defined over the next 2 weeks when they play TTG and Saints. It will be very hard to win the flag from outside top 3.
Is PNU a side littered with SANFL experienced players? Or is port powers Darren burgess out there volunteering his time to to last years div 2 premier?

Just a bunch of blokes who play for the love of the jumper. I believe a whopping total of two players with league experience. The same amount we had last time we were in Div 1.
The PNU Falcs 2005,06,13 x 2,14 and Div 1 Premiers in 2019......The SA 3peat - 2003,04,05
