Interesting, cant imagine CBC's A's would've been towelled up by a brand new team. anyone know?
I got told SPOS won by a few goals from a player who played for SPOS in the A grade
How did your hit out with Elizabeth go?
It went very well. Always a challenge coming up against a Carey Payne coached side. Elizabeth were impressive. I'm not sure who they did or didn't have out. Doesn't really matter. The ones they had in played well. They've got some solid units and moved the ball really well at times. Was a good first hitout for us and good to blow the cobwebs out. We now have a week off before another trial against Glenunga

I should imagine that they'll go alright this season, some handy pick ups to go with their youngish squad. I'm sure both clubs benefited from it and I imagine it would've been played in good spirits, good luck for the forthcoming season.

Didnt know they were playing anyone last weekend? Any further information watchy?
Played Glenunga at Thebby, happy to get through with no injuries. I don't think Glenunga were as fortunate. In the Bs their skipper copped a fair old falcon which sent him into fairyland and I think their A grade skipper done a knee, although no idea how serious it was.

Scott Whyborn went alright for a young fella though. Probably hasnt got Coxy's natural ability but he worked hard and kicks long, can't ask for too much more than that from a younger bloke.

Did he reply to last week's ad on here?
The player you're referring to has been training with us on and off since early-mid feb. He came out cos he knew a few of the boys socially. Nothing more

he could easily play D5 A's.... Far from an average B grade player.
