Probably not to incorerct in what he said in some of it, everyone should be watching their backs walking out of hotels and around up there at the minute, his mistake was saying he has mates up there ;)

Matter resolved between the clubs, looks like no penalty unless the AFL steps in

You’d think the club would ‘manage’ him this weekend for his own sake

I’d be surprised if that’s not part of the negotiated outcome for everyone to quickly consider the matter closed

Yep...

This is what happens when every decision is made from a business reputation standpoint and not about morale value and genuine care to stand on societal issues.

Makes all their 'themed' rounds more of a mockery than they already are because we all know they it's a marketing gimic rather than a genuine stance on issues.

Cannot believe he hasn't been sanctioned. The club has to act in some manner.

Unless it's a hidden sanction where he steps down this week from his own decision, Port have already closed the matter themselves.
Extremely poor by Port and the AFL on this.

Both club and the AFL need to comment on this regardless of the sanction or lack there of.
What happens if some other player does this in the future?

Port would be told what to do wouldn't they? I doubt they could do anything with how the game is currently run.

Absolutely they would have. The way the AFL manage these things comes from HQ down.

Not sure Mr Koch would listen if he felt strongly enough to comment
