Is this confirmed, have not heard his name mentioned even once.CENTURION wrote:That really sucks that he won't go back to his original SANFL club.Wolf Pack wrote:Aaron Francis on his way to the Redlegs……
Was told a couple of ex Norwood lads with AFL experience coming back and one other ex SANFL player playing VFL was being spoken to but nothing in regards to Francis

Re: INS & OUTS 2026
I hope it’s not true, I was told by a good source that his partner was an interstate girl and he was staying interstate as she didn’t want to move here.
West did a lot for Burgess so he really disappoints me.
Francis hasn’t play much for West so I can understand him although he would be a good addition

Re: INS & OUTS 2026
100% agree so many great clubmen at SANFL footy clubs that just want to prove themselves at the highest possible levelDutchy wrote:Believe it or not there are still plenty of footballers who want to play the highest level they can, while they can. To them it is more than money, to retire one day and look back knowing they gave it their all and got the most out of their talent.
These are the ones we need to celebrate more, they are within their clubs but externally they need more recognition imo.
They're way too good for community footy and could easily pick up 10X what they get as very good ressies/fringe league players at SANFL clubs if they chose to.
I dips me lid to them every time
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Re: INS & OUTS 2026
The South Adelaide Football Club is thrilled to welcome Harley Sparks to Magain Stadium for the 2026 Hostplus SANFL League Season.
A talented rebounding defender, Sparks has notched up 50 WAFL games since 2021, including 22 with East Perth and 28 for the West Coast Eagles WAFL side.
At just 24 years of age, he capped off an impressive 2024 campaign by claiming the Eagles’ Best and Fairest Award, averaging 22 disposals per game across the season.

Very good get. 2 seasons ago was an absolute standout in a very poor side.saintal wrote:The South Adelaide Football Club is thrilled to welcome Harley Sparks to Magain Stadium for the 2026 Hostplus SANFL League Season.
