Heard today Lockleys have lost 3 and picked up 6 and a couple are from Goodwoods Bgrade.

Still too earlly to call who's coming or going....Ohh and just for the record I still dont see the words "Stars" and Division Six, how they go together. Stars are in the sky at night and at the G or AAMI on Match Days.

And they should! Or are you suggesting Div 1Reserves players may struggle in Div 6?

Last seasons joint B&F winner came from a Div 1R background...hence he carved up in Div 6. Still doesn't give anyone the title of "Star" IMO

Can only give you second hand information, but there are a number of new faces and a good energy about the club. Much better prepared for Div 6 this time.

I'm due back in a couple of weeks. Currently in Togo getting voodoo curses put on a few opposition clubs

Thats a big statement DD, good player yes but carved up im not sure about. Polled well in the b & f (as midfielders they do when they get plenty of it) but not so well in the div 6 medal (probably cause there opponent had more of it on the day). Heard a whisper he could be leaving this year as well seeking a division higher, but that was a few weeks ago. I also hear Lockleys will have a few ruckman this year, the recruit from the eagles, crabbe, hall, roswell, martinello just to name a few. 2010 is a key year at Lockleys as I know for fact if they don't to div 5 many players will be seeking higher opportunity's. I wish them all the best, really good group of guys down there that have been a bit unlucky over the last couple of years.

do ya rekon losing kane stewart will hurt them this year or have they got enough people coming in to cover him? i know he didnt play a lot last year but from what ive seen at training he looks pretty fit

had a couple of blokes leave not really to many to other clubs but just a couple not playing this year (or so they say) got a few lads from pt augusta coming up for uni this year so hopefully we wont lose much in terms of talent but only time will tell

Might be just be a rumour but have heard on the grapevine the Paralowie Captain Mark Boothy may be heading to Athelstone not sure if its true but saw and heard him discussing the prospect with a coach from the Raggies yesterday.
