their div 7r side is their most incompetent side?
also the C3 team (scum)
and the greys (over 35s)
what's the girls team called this season?
"the agrade"
.... only kidding lets not mistake humour as a swipe upon a football club i am not insulting the mighty blacks, and i am in fact mighty jealous that theyre club has a womens team and mine doesnt, regards
touche to the a grade... the women's side is known as bob neil's girl guides.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much
Was pretty impressed with North Pines last week, they have some quality footballers in O'Loughlin and Sansbury who are very hard to stop through the midfield.. Their use of the footy by foot was extremely impressive, only issue may be depth as they seemed to struggle in the D grade against our D's.. i am assuming that a majority of the pending in's they had were cleared by the time they suited up against us last week?

Still waiting for a few to be cleared and a few more still to come, will get stronger as the year goes. Might even push for finals with some there new players.
G'day all just want to let Smithfield Supporters know there is NO B Grade tomorrow, sorry for the late notice but the club has only just become aware of it.

SHOC, like many other clubs are struggling for numbers in a big way. This isn't the first time this season that the d grade has nearly forfeited. Only 6-10 regulars. I spose the ring ins are not that keen to travel to the other side of town.

More a case of what happens when you mix A & B's with C's & D's......

Been mixed for years and years. Don't remember too many forfeits from D grades over this time.
Or are you suggesting that their players didn't want to front up to Smithfield?

But more than A's or B's ...right... (and yes it appears Kilburn did not front today)..
I think you need 16 players. I have been a critic of Smithfield in the past but credit has to given. Obviously they smashed us today and are a very good side. But disciplined as well considering SHOC had a very good run with the umpires. In fact some decisions were just crazy bad SHOCs way. Smithfield also put on a couple of jugs for the SHOC boys which was great and we were very appreciative of. So hats of to the Smithfield people for turning things around. Impressive.
Not at all Q. Just struggling for numbers like many and when 1/2 the boys are phoned Thursday and Friday to help out the 2 hour drive isn't all that appealing. Especially when they have helped out the previous 3 games.
geeze will smithfield get one hard game at least this season?
super super credit to those young men at wingfield fc, true grit and love for your club to be out there against enormous onslaughts walk with your heads high boys super admirable
