What Game Are You Playing Now?

Definitely grab BioShock 1. Should be able to get it dirt cheap. If you like a story in your game, and an original one at that, you will love it. Has plenty of wow moments.

This missus reckons she can tell if a game is good or not by watching my reaction while playing. Last night my jaw hit the floor and I was just staring at the screen for a minute apparently.

Cool. Im just reading the overview on Wikipedia without reading the plot or see any spoilers. It says its kinda like the book 1984, which is one of my favourites of all time. Cant believe I havent played it yet.

Just picked up Bioshock: The Ultimate Rapture edition from JBs. Comes with Bioshock 1 & 2 on one disk, with all the add-ons for $29.

The chick at Gepps X had no idea. I rang to make sure it was in stock and she put me on hold for ages. When she got back she said the computer shows one in stock, but she looked everywhere and couldnt find it. She thought maybe it had been put away for someone. I then asked if they had normal copies of Bioshock 1 or 2 in stock. She said they had heaps. I said thank you, Ill come in. All ok so far.

Rocked up and went straight to the PS3 section. Looked where all the games starting with B. First one I saw was the exact one I had asked about originally, and no other Bioshocks she said they had heaps of...I have no **** idea where she was looking when I was on the phone to her...

Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD. Bought it off the Playstation store tonight in time for my annual leave over Easter and it's f**king sick, bit pricey at $21.95 I thought but worth it, very happy with my purchase. It's basically a combo of the first two Pro Skaters with levels and parts of the soundtrack from both games. It's pretty much the same gameplay from the original two with much better visuals, a few new skaters, a few old favourites and some new songs to go with the classics like Superman, Bring the Noise and May 16. For a massive THPS fanboy it's a very successful remake/revamp of such two memorable games. Great to able to play the old levels like Downhill Jam, The Hanger and the Warehouse on PS3.

Played Bioshock for about an hour or so last night. Really good so far. Pretty intense when you have 5 chicks running at you with tommy guns and you only have 3 bullets in your revolver and a wrench

This was my favourite part so far. Starts getting good about 16 seconds in.



After that played two games of Madden and had the comeback 4th qtr of the century. Down 17-3, threw 3 touchdowns (the last one with 7 seconds remaining) to win 24-17.

Its just 16 random episodes selected from the first 4 seasons. We already have all the episodes, but the missus wanted the hat, so I caved and got it for her.

Downloaded Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty...bit disappointed though...no one phat arse to be seen.

i got bioshock infinite yesterday. played an hour or so last night.
my opinion is this game is a bar raiser. visually and audibly its amazing. always something to look at and listen to. wont comment on the story as im not far enough in. my advice would be to get this game though. so much fun

Just got NCAA Football 12 from ebay today. Cant wait to go home after footy and start my Road To Glory.

Its great because you play a season of High School football, then get offers from different colleges depending how you do.

Im also looking forward to running my own team in Dynasty. The scouting and recruitment part of the game is exactly whats missing from Madden. I guess the Draft keeps Madden to only having a bit of scouting though.

Im excited!!

Its great because you play a season of High School football, then get offers from different colleges depending how you do.

Im also looking forward to running my own team in Dynasty. The scouting and recruitment part of the game is exactly whats missing from Madden. I guess the Draft keeps Madden to only having a bit of scouting though.

Nah you cant do that anymore. They took it out of Madden 13 because it would stuff up the Draft stories. Also, in Madden you dont go through the draft, you pick who you play for now.

Hopefully they put that back into Madden 25 when it comes out.

Back to NCAA, I played a few games as an Option QB, and the high school coach almost exclusively called QB Run plays....I like scrambling when a hole opens up and theres no receivers open, but it got old just running the ball every play. I called audibles, but it made it tricky to complete passes when I was getting blitzed every play.

I rushed for an average of 150 yards a game as QB. Threw at about 40% and simmed the last few games and got a scholarship to A&M as a 2nd stringer.

Gonna start again and probably make a pocket passer QB, just so the Option thing doesnt happen again.
