Im not sure if he wanting the captaincy is the only justification for him being there, the $$$$ may have a little to do with it.....

Maybe the fact he has won the last 3 B&F's in a row could be justification

I think he will break club history and get a 4th in 08, as captian and [-o< in a premiership year.......

That says he is a bloody good footballer, not necessarily captaincy material. Some around these parts suggest he is far from captaincy material. And if he has held a gun to the clubs head over the captaincy then all that does is prove he shouldn't get the gig.

Well said, a great player indeed but definately not captian material, i previously posted i beleive Brad Marray would be a great pick.

Murray would be a great choice as he is one of the hardest players we've seen for a while, Coree Achee could also put his tender in for the position, we could also graduate a younger player to a leadership role

I think Achee will be appointed captain. If Murray had have played more than the one year i think he would have been right up there too.

Clayton trainded with the Magpies on Wednesday night.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

No words come out of his mouth Booney, very quiet for a captain.

I don't doubt his ability, he's a great player.
It comes down to more than just football ability to lead a side.
Being constructive & able to direct, instruct, communicate, encourage, motivate & most of all lead from the front, VOICE has alot to do with being a good captain.
