His job at First Class level is to see off the new ball and occupy the crease. On most occasions he has done this, hence why when Phil Hughes is available he doesn't play.
Used to bat attacking and often at grade level would be well past 50 at lunch. But then his opening partner in club cricket would do what he does now at shield level....

Your right, he does alot of the hard work but then when settled and should cash in, thats when he tends to get out. He does bat for long periods which is what the team requires. I really hope he goes on with it and makes a big ton and cements his spot in the team.

Should also add he did make a hundred in the pre season practice game vs Qld up there......

If coops had a good year last year he would be playing test cricket now. he got 800 runs in 2011/12 season and got in to the aust A side scoring 180
I love vegatarian food. It goes great with steak.
