The Bays cop a fair bit of flack on here but well done to the Tigers on having the most players drafted this year. Something, something Glenelg Football factory :) Hopefully Alex and Billy are heading to the Demons as they start their up-cycle.

Had the pleasure or perhaps pain of coaching against "Big Trarks" Christian Petracca for a couple of years and he is a machine. Good enough to represent Australia in 3 sports. Will be fast tracked ala Ollie Wines and be ready to go in round 1. Ripping humble young lad as well. Melbourne May not be the best fit for him but im sure he will have a long strong successful career

As you should be, Heeney was easily top-5 so to get him at 18 is an absolute steal.

Seems every player this year should have been top 5.

Agreed. It seems every single club come out with the same line "We can't believe he slipped to pick such and such" you can only fit 10 players in to the top 10 picks!

It's exactly what we said about John Butcher ;)

I feel sorry for the kids, of all the clubs to have gone to, they go to the career destructors.
Melbourne have a knack for taking the most talented youngsters in the land and turning them into duds.

Hopefully Paul Roos can have a positive effect on establishing these young players and developing their full potentials.

This day just keeps getting better with the Cows taking Anthony Wilson. Nothing worse than losing guys to the draft that now have to play against us

Rapt the Roos redrafted Nahas, thought he added a fair bit to our team before getting injured this year.

Port take Krakouer, Logan and Wagner.

Nathan Krakouer......? With Colquhoun on the comeback, relisting Logan and having Impey, Broadbent, Pittard all playing small/mid defenders who run and attack, how many do we need?

Adelaide take Reilly OBrien from Calder Cannons, Keenan Ramsay from Port Adelaide, Anthony Wilson from Norwood.

Josh Glenn from Central to Gold Coast.
Shaun McKernan to Essendon.
Tom Read from Sturt to Geelong
Tom Fields and Keegan Brooksby from South to Carlton and Gold Coast respectively.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I can only see Krakour as being a depth player at best. Maybe as another spare outside mid, who knows.

We selected Kane Lucas, was ok a few years back but seems to of lost his way. Might be an ok pick up and just needs a fresh start to get going.

Lucas has heaps of pace, burns his disposal often and is a pretty soft player. Wish him well at west coast

Is that Padraig Lucey the one off of the recruit? And Marc Cox too? Names sound familiar but not sure...

Yep, I reckon he just needs a chance at that level.
A real shame no one grabbed him.
