Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

They haven’t cancelled it as far as I’m aware.
Given this is all being funded by AFLNT with support from the NT Government and Sponsors (the have a three year naming rights sponsorship deal locked in) I suspect this game is all but locked in.
First NT squads’ training sessions is tonight.
Less than 3 weeks to go, it won’t be called off now.

So essentially the Glenelg are playing a team comprised of the best players in the NT league?
Who are you referring to? Obviously Tsitas is up there. Who else? I understand Jungfer is from NT but not sure whether he plays up there during the SANFL off-season.
If this is a fair dinkum 'best of NT' then you'd imagine they will easily account for a Glenelg side that wouldn't be that far into pre-season training and would be likely to rest some of its better players.

Dane McFarlane is the other. Been playing some good footy up there,
Id still expect Glenelg to win although the conditions and whether Glenelg use some lesser players may favour the home team.

Are heaps of Bays fans going up like North fans did when we did the same many moons ago? It was an awesome weekend. We still tell many tales from that trip.

Re: Glenelg 2021
TERRITORY coach Chris Baksh and Glenelg rival Brett Hand will take two quality sides into Saturday’s representative game at TIO Stadium.
First and second-placed Nightcliff (six players) and Wanderers (six) dominate selection for the NTFL Buffaloes.
The Tigers have Tom Boyd, Daniel Bowles, Cameron Ilett, Brodie Filo, Kyle Emery and Dominic Brew in an NT Jumper.
Wanderers are close by with first-gamer Simon Bates, Braedon McLean, Dane McFarlane, Brodie Newman, Brett Eddy and Josh Cubillo named in the 24.
Glenelg can boast 2019 Magarey medallist Luke Partington, a former West Coast Eagle, in its ranks, while former Richmond goalkicker Liam McBean and North Melbourne pair Lachie Hosie and Sam Burdin will line up against the Bufflaoes.
Territory allegiances will be stretched in the men’s game, with Wanderers pair Marlon Motlop and Neil Vea Vea wearing the black and yellow of Glenelg.
The Territory women will field a strong side, complemented by a strong following division, hard working defence and freewheeling midfield.
Gwynne medallist Lisa Roberts, Darwin Buffettes livewire Dominique Carbone and PINT pair Jasmyn Hewett and Katie Streader are expected to play big roles.

Good to see Brett Eddy in form and playing at full forward. Would be good to see him to suit up in the SANFL.

Remind me, how did the Roosters go?
Anyone got a record of SANFL teams playing up there? I believe that wins are a rarity. I remember the Bays lost the last time they played in Darwin. I have a vague memory of Port winning there once. (Not the afl port).
Didn't go myself. Presently ensconced on the sofa, streaming the game and sinking Heinie tins.

North beat the NTFL by 23 points in 2006. North had a very good team that year and I believe underachieved finishing third

Not sure what you mean? You've honestly dumbfounded me with that comment.
We had probably 100 fans up there and it was an awesome time, we spent time with the locals, players, ex AFL players, journos, with many beer sunk at the game, hotel and Lizard Lounge, etc. Sheik Yerbouti and Skeff were 2 of the travellers which make the memories and photos extra special. The poor Sheik didn't find out till we were flying over Tenant Creek that we could get free piss on the plane!
And some of Skeffs outfits and tales of nudity were legendary.
I was looking forward to similar tales and photos from the Bays faithful.
I also went to Canberra when North played Quenbeyan, was also another great time, interstate trips with SANFL sides are great and I'm genuinely jealous it wasn't North this time.
