Re: AFL Round 6
Did the AFL drug him to move the media cycle on from the tribunal fiasco?
I'd vote no, but I wouldn't put it past them either...

Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Early in the game it was noted that he may be a concern, but was kept in the game until 9 mins into the last.Hollands played just nine minutes in the last quarter of a tight loss.
Yeah, this is a horrendous look for Carlton...

You can blame the club or Voss or whoever……..
But at what point does the player take responsibility

Carlton staff would have an excellent idea of his mental state, probably as good as his parents at this point in his life as he'd spend 20+ hours a week with these people.
At the first sign of concern, he should have been taken from the field and into the rooms for a welfare check.

Having a line of something that pepps you up is a different kettle of fish than whatever he took.wenchbarwer wrote:
Have a read about Gavin Crosisca, he was on the gear for much of his career and no-one had any idea
I tried to be sympathic and have his back but I'm really struggling now I've seen some more footage,
I'm probably more on Carlton's back though that no one else detected it.
I grew up and played in the Bronx, cones or a line of wizz were pretty rife before a game but if we seen someone floating on some other shit there is no way in the world they'd be playing...........seen it a few times. Had one dude at training taking out his team mates while off his tits, much loved and respected player too, it was hard having to pin him down and watch him not be himself waiting for the authorities arrived. Commited suicide not long after.

Re: AFL Round 6
They're calling it a mental health episode, so I'm happy to run with that. I've seen people react in very manic fashion with mental health, so it tracks for me.
Surely he was spot tested after the game, for his own safety. If he's proven to be on something, well, that's a different story altogether.

That's the straw for me, if that didn't ring an alarm bell for anyone he may as well have been glowing like Monty Burns after his radiation treatment.whufc wrote:That shot at goal in the warm up is pretty disturbing.Lightning McQueen wrote:Check out the 2nd bit of footage on this page.wenchbarwer wrote: I was referring to the article, it says it was a mental health episode.
