Re: Celebrity Casualties
Bill Withers, who wrote and performed 'Ain't No Sunshine', has passed away at the age of 81. Such a great song. RIP.

Re: Celebrity Casualties
Very sad news, grew up watching the Goodies at 6pm om the ABC (with Kenny Everett afterwards at 6:30pm), IIRC.
Although, as sad as his passing is, I'm sure he'd say something like 'Don't cry for me , Marge and Tina.' Rest in peace, Timita.

Very sad news, there was so many shows I loved this guy in,
Of course The Goodies, but also “I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue”, Me and My Girl with Richard O'Sullivan, and Assaulted Nuts
He also co-written my favourite sketch “Four Yorkshiremen” with John Cleese, Graham Chapman and Marty Feldman and originally performed on their TV series At Last the 1948 Show in 1967
RIP

Try and tell the young people of today that, and they won't believe you.

He also had a cameo in the original Willy Wonka movie, which was on the telly again a few days ago.

Yes, RIP. 'First Blood' is a great film (so much better than its tone-deaf gun-toting sequels), and much of it because of Dennehy's performance.
