All scores will have to be wiped now and every body given a 10 goal win. That's going to stuff up a lot of teams, leading goal kickers and Medal votes.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.
Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Special meeting at the club next Friday with everyone involved with the club both past, present, cricket, footy etc..
Could be the end, extremely sad outcome for a proud and successful club over the time
Made your bed end of story. Non tears here and the same from a lot of others
Righto fred. You dont know a thing about kilburn on or off the field so crawl back under the rock you came from. Do some research about something productive to say rather than just read previous posts and run with that.. waste of space.

Gave Salisbury plenty of notice. Would've thought they'd know before 2:00 as we were running out.
Disgrace that they didn't give notice. Players, volunteers, supporters, umpires all come out only to find out last minute there is no game. Id imagine there are plenty of other things everyone would have liked to do on a Saturday afternoon.

Im not in the know so I cant really comment but obviously kilburn are playing a few c graders in their side. Any 1 that has played or been associated with a c grade side can confirm that people sometimes just dont rock up. No phone call etc.. Im not saying right or wrong but its pretty easy to pot shot. Find out how much they tried. Then have a go if deserved.

Well that is unfortunate and I dont want tp start sticking the boots in so I won't say what I and many others have been thinking in recent times. I'll just let it go with there club.
A sad end to a proud club with very good facilities.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards
Nothing wrong leaving it to the last minute to forfeit hoping a couple will show up that you can't get hold of. As for goal kickers and umpires votes stiff shit it's not what you play footy for. Gotta say I didn't mind seeing them getting belted every week but don't want to see a club fall apart if that's what will happen. That's a different kettle of fish whether it's their own doing or not.

Why would this be the end of Kilburn? If they pull out for the rest of the season it can give the committee a load more time to get a plan together to recruit players and figure out how to keep them.

I agree it wont be the end. I know forfeiting isnt what the club wants as if they do forfeit the rest of the year then they will lose the 15 to 20 players theu currently have and numbers and depth is just as important to a club with only a few juniors sides.
I'm not going to have a go at Robo and the people who run the club that were there yesterday, they were doing everything they could, ringing around to the 6-7 blokes that didn't rock up after saying they would. Robo did come across to our playing group and apologise, which was good of him. Obviously we wanted to play and so did the Kilburn people who were there, it was the ones that weren't there that are obviously the issue.
Unfortunately, it does open up a can of worms as far as $$$ goes, as we still had to pay the umpires who travelled to the ground, as well as pay trainers and bar staff, as well as the bar/kitchen/canteen revenue lost, strapping and medical supplies used etc. Hopefully the SAAFL will compensate us.
