As for Batesey, he played for MPFC that year if I remember correctly. He was also surprised at the coin offered considering he doubted you blokes had ever seen him play. You screwed it up though, Damien is the last guy to play for money, if you had of played the connection card and put the effort into actually knowing what makes him tick you might have got him! Steve Logan is definitely one of our better players and was a key component of our team when he was being targeted. Has had some distractions of late and we need to get him 100% committed again but is still a very important player. Possum Moroney is one of the most talented youngsters I have seen at MPFC - we need to get his head right though. Both players are under 25 and given a full and dedicated pre-season would slot into your A Grade quite comfortably.

Hint - the CLG football club is bigger than zedman and scotroo, it might just be, maybe, a distinct possibility that there are others who might try and bring players to the cub that you two don't know about. I know right. Hard to fathom.

So, lets summarise: morell claims in jest that CLG have tried to recruit players from the MPFC to stir some shit, CLG knobs get their knickers in a knot and start crying (why? who cares, its perfectly normal) and get morell to provide names, morell provides names quite categorically, CLG knobs try and say they don't count because:

A. It was a long time ago, and his missus s a McSorely so it is OK! - I guess you forgot about that one huh.
B. We didn't personally try it so therefore it doesn't count either - ego much?
