My/our Falcon got picked up on Saturday for around $20k worth of rust repairs and paint.

If I went for this I'd need somewhere to sleep until the car came back.

Mate, that's a closed door respray. Proper panel beaters are a dying breed as all they do now is undo bolts and put plastic back on.

I had one quote of $35k for paint + $180/hour for body work. Total would be upwards of $55-60k.
