Sad to see him wasting his career in the Ammos, thought he showed plenty at SANFL level

Apparently not so happy
For what it's worth the drive of penance from Petaringa to Payneham took me past Campbeltown. Judging solely by the numbers pissing on i assumed ROCS got up.
Good result for the Hawks

Just had 30mm of rain. Oval might be a tad ordinary for the A grade after having two games played beforehand.

PAOC can't have home final, which means league misses out on home final fee.
Ergo, a gated oval would be required so they can re-cooperate some of that lost income. Assuming that ROCS didn't want to host it, otherwise it would've been there I'd say.
What is it with people that think it's offensive to play any final more than 3km from their home ground.
Seriously.

I suspect PAOC was in the market for as bigger Oval as was available and did well on that front. Agree TTG have a pretty raw deal travel wise. Long travel from the end of the B grade at Payneham to St Mary's.

PAOC only played one home final last year and it was (vs Gaza) at Prospect if memory serves right? Also think the reports on the Prospect catering were less than stellar so an experienced finals host would be for the best. Only query would be to what, if any, more centrally located Salisbury/Hope Valley/Campbeltown were. End of the day PAOC were the best team between round 1 and 18 and their preference should come with a fair bit of weight on that basis. If they want to play at Panther Park good luck to them. As a hypothetical would be interesting to know if any of the 44 TTG or PAOC blokes have ever played a proper match at St Mary's before? Castree go there while at GG?

Why wouldn't you want to play a final at St.Marys? Best finals venue in the SAAFL
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Free to get in at Rosella St on Sat Marby
Get there early enough you can even see the C3 GF for free! Not many C9AFL grand finals you get in for free without playing in!
