they normally have up until 10am Saturday morning to make the decision but if Grade cricket is called off, you would bank on Turf being called off also.

I think you will find a decision will be made by 9.00am and posted on the 1900 service. ATCA executives usually do a ring around to a number of clubs to find out what the situation is across the metro area. If all clubs are effected they will call all games off. Given this is first week of two day game it is almost certain that we will have 1 dayers on 20th.

I would agree with you there bulldog, curators wouldnt have had a chance to get on the pitches with is still raining and dosent look like it will stop. Looks like we will be spending the day at our sponsors pub tomorrow i reckon.

Cricket Club Secretaries were emailed this: -

Dear all

Please note due the weather conditions all ATCA fixtures have been cancelled for the Seniors (13 December) and Juniors (14 December) 2008.

It is planned the matches will now be played as one day fixtures on 20 and 21 December (senior and junior) respectively.

We will provide more information with regard to applicable playing conditions, start times early next week.
