I did, yes. I had two candidates to choose from and felt Tredrea would challenge the board and direction of the club more than Abernethy would.

I had concerns about his ability to balance his out spoken media career and his board role but had to weigh that up against who would be more representative of the members on the board.

All he wants is the board to not play out it's politics publicly, call it precious if you like but I'm all for keeping it in house.
