Its a race in itself isnt it!
From a Brahma perspective, we were very happy to get an outright on the weekend and hopefully can score a win against Flinders Uni or Concordia in the last 2 games which should see us stay up.
very good night at pooraka music pumping to fill the ime between wickets 4s and 6s didnt get to watch pooraka bat as was running the loop but came back to watch reynella do a good job one guy nearly hit the sign twice for the 500 dollar prize
and reynella came to play got to pooraka nice and early around 3.30pm-4:pm so had a good preperation and it showed
quick run down of the chase
after 10 overs reynella 1 for 90 had a reasonable start probably needed to be a little bit more runs on the board and i think it showed in the second half of the chase between overs 12-16 reynella tryed to push harder and in patches worked but some good bowling at crucial times put pressure back on reynella....
17-20 overs reynella still needed 50 runs off around 24 balls i know ill get his last name wrong in spelling but rocco calaberia bowled 2 fine overs and i think did save pooraka...reynella needed 23 of the last over and rock to his credit bowled a solid over under pressure

Should have no trouble there mate.
The secret impresses no one. The trick you use it for is everything.

What a game. The chase by Reynella was talked about in the change rooms afterwards as one of the best chases we have ever seen, even though they didn't get it in the end. We all agreed that it is no surprise that they are top of A3.
Well done to the lads, most of them were there before the Pooraka boys (missing peak hour suuuurely) and was played in great spirit.
Hopefully we can go on with it against Scotch now.
Thanks to everyone who came down to support!

Well, thanks everyone for your stories of last weekends cricket, some belters there, created some great discussion and good banter. That story with the... And the other one when that...

Very close at the bottom end. Concordia are gone from what i saw last match, worst performance i have seen in a long time and i would expect Ingle farm and Brahma to account for them easily. Brahma also have to play Flinders uni so assuming Brahma win this I would expect the final relegation spot to come down to old scotch (para hills and flinders uni to play) and Flinders Uni (Brahma and Old scotch to play). The final game between these two sides deciding their fate. There is also a possability of Walkerville (Unley and Para hills to play) and Woodville South(Pooraka and Ingle Farm to play) not winning another game leaving them both teetering on the brink of relegation should an upset occur. The top 4 will stay the same IMO with maybe the order changing with Para Hills on a charge on the back of brilliant leg spinner Grant Carey. A really exciting end to the year and it will be interesting to see how it pans out. Probably some more twists and turns to come.
In other news Lordrocco18 is hungry for runs this week, in fact he is hungry for anything!

I see you've again added more great discussion, wit, stories and banter to this thread yourself, or would that get in the way if your constant whinging?

How is the leg coming along Ray.... Any outside chance for a return for premiership glory ??
By the way I reckon Hashtag is good value contrary to other opinions..

Maybe he should stick to posting on cricket related topics and not have subliminal digs at the mod team. I have nothing against him, I quite enjoyed his match reviews when he first burst on to the scene, the regional cricket threads generally run smoothly with little need to be moderated.

match reviews were great, long winded riddles not so

I had issues with the endless dribble that was nothing to do with the thread title before I joined the team. Also seem to recall I had other posters agreeing with me at the time.....
