No, actually, little sledging going on at all.

Facing Muster, he managed to get some grip and bounce from the pitch while Bevan had some stay low to others up the other end.

Slog? I dunno, if anyone has seen me bat, there isn't a whole lot of grace and fluency about it i don't think. Just good ol fashioned clean straight hitting.

Spoke to Dawson on Saturday, who was shattered by my comments on here. In honesty I've never seen him play, just talk about himself playing. And with Daws, you never know what to believe, am I right Smiling Assassin?

I heard that he did look fairly shattered on Saturday night. Not sure if SS's comments were the cause though.

I'd assume one of the players they're talking about coming back in November would be Ben Jones.

He'll prop up an end for 40 minutes or so for 10 runs

Two extremely close games on the weekend.

From what I hear, Berri rolled Waikerie on the last ball.

Needed ten off the last over or so, lost a wicket the first ball and someone came out and smashed three boundaries to get the demons over the line. Not Scared might be able to help clear this one up.

Monash got over the top of Loxton by one wicket chasing 146 in controversial circumstances.

Monash mounted a great comeback from being 7/70 or so.

However, everyone on the field thought there was one over left, even the umpire, but the scorebook had two overs to go.

So on completion of the 43rd over, which Loxton and the central umpire believed to be the 45th, Monash were one run short of the total, with one wicket remaining.

But upon being informed of the two missing overs, the teams had to head back out onto the field, whereby a lofted prod to cover from tailender Corey Siemers saw the final two runs scored, thus ending the match.

Yes, Berri did roll Waikerie on the last ball. Needed 10, Safralidis out first ball of the last over, and new opening bowler Sam Keogh stepped out after being elevated from 11 and slammed a four first ball. Had another lusty swing 2nd ball and missed it, followed by another 4 from his third ball. His 4th ball was a lusty swing which missed again, leaving two required off the last ball. Waikerie brought up the field and he went over the top for 4. Not bad for a bloke playing his first game at the club.

Overland Corner was pretty good on the way home too.

With Renmark having the bye last week a few players played in the Renmark District comp, Ben Townsend made a ton and took 7 wickets including a hat trick, not a bad day out. Ben Files also made 179 n.o.

What is the structure of the Riverland A grade competition this year. Is there any 2 day cricket or is it all one dayers??

Youd hope Ben Files and Townsend would play A grade....

It is 2 rounds of one dayers before Christmas and then a round of two dayers followed by two day finals after Christmas. Yeah, you would hope that lots of blokes would play A grade but it sounds like some either don't want to, or are being pressured by their Renmark District teams.
