Ive found one, yesterdays Advertiser Teams Injury lists both the Kangaroos and WWTFC club emblems are incorrect....in the Roos case its over 10 years old!!!!

Surely its not hard to ensure yu have the correct template saved on the PC's?

Like I mentioned to another couple of users that disliked this post, DON'T BLOODY READ IT...

I don't go around looking at their topics posted and bad mouth them three or four times over...

Now, I'm fully aware that a forum is going to have various and differing opinions and clearly there are people that have vested their "negative" opinion on the topic, but, they have done it a manner without being rude and arrogant and their thoughts are duly considered.

Hey, I'm more than happy to cop criticism on the chin if it is valid, but why should I have to take s**t from people that just come onto the topic and purely and simply tear shreds off it, that's crap and I shouldn't have to put up with it, hence my tirade at the "haters" of this post

Anyway, I don’t know why I'm even justifying this with a response (Well I must admit, I didn't need to get all personal before) but I really don't care now about the opinions of the negative posters, I'm going to continue with my crusade for the rest of the year...

Yeah, okay, but the thing is, you know what the BIGGEST difference between me and them is Smithy ???

The media have employed journalists that are supposed to be the "experts" who's job it is to accuratley report to the public on all footy matters. As a whole they do a reasonable job BUT...

My frustration is that they don't seem to take care or pride in getting their facts right. It shows a lack of professionalism (or a nothing carefactor) when they report BASIC information wrong. Like I mentioned above, they are supposed to know what they are talking about. If a Joe Bloggs like me, and many others out there, can pick up on clear and basic errors, are these guys really the experts or not ???

Now, of course, by no means am I suggesting I could do a better job because I probably couldn't to begin with. I certainly have no doubt these media outlets are always flat out and under the pump with deadlines but I'm just constantly suprised by mistakes so therefore highlighting the simplistic nature in which they continue to make them is my way of making a point...

Yes, well said DW, I know how you feel because of what you do for a living mate...

Like I mentioned above, I'm not going to get into the BS with petty people who are against this topic. I myself, can be very strong willed and opionated (obviously) at times so I will forget about smart a**e tone and get on with things. Like I said, I respect what you say mate, but to be honest, I'm not too fussed about the credibility thing because it wont stop me putting my posts on here. It's up to those who do or don't read it to have their opinions and responses.

You're right though DogWatcher, from now on I will just simply post the error, have a bit of a whinge about it and move onto the next one, like you say, there are plenty of them...

Clearly you haven't got any points that have been made previously about making mistakes and learning from them. So if I was a surgeon and just so happen to make very basic mistakes regulalry, do reckon I'd still be doing my job ??? Think about it that way gentleman...

If you must know, I did spot that error myself but it was only about an hour ago when i finally sat down and read the paper. I have driven to Port Lincoln today for work (had to go via Pirie and Augusta on the way, so I didn't take the ferry, had customers to see !!?) therefore I just haven't had time to point it out on here yet. After around 8 hiurs of driving today and being on the road since 5am, I'm sorry that it is not one of main proirities immediatley after the paper comes off the press people. Obviously because it effects your precious Bays, it's good to see you are quick to inform me that The Tige's should be on top of the Doggies...

In answer to your question, no I don't just highlight the mistakes that effective Centrals alone. Yes, there are a few of the current listed mistakes that are Centrals orientated, but it is mainly because I actually started this topic over on the Centrals forum and simply copied it over to this one. I do keep an eye on media coverage fror ALL the other SANFL teams, the AFL and any other sports for printed errors, just to let you know Tassie. It's just that I have not spotted any too many mistakes of late...
