Good one. I'll give you next years first round pick for that effort.

That was a good one, I'll even throw in a priority pick!

Do you think Tyrone Vickery will ever get back to the lofty heights that saw him earn 4 Brownlow votes in 2015?

He may get a few votes in the Liston Medal...
TOB may keep him in the VFL for a while yet.

TOB looked very good on Sunday. Vickery was a gamble get. They don't always pay off. Like to see TOB settle in and be a consistent contributor now. Bye Tyrone, thanks for the memories!

Think Tyrone will be happy to collect his $600k a year for the next 3 years to play for Box Hill [emoji3]

It was a gamble.
It's just that it was a 10 leg multi with the last leg being me to win the Stawell Gift type gamble.

Big gamble, no doubt based on thinking with better delivery and people around him he will become a better player.

Ok ... big gamble! I would argue Cloke was a gamble get by the Dogs as well. Hawks record with other discards has been ok. Vickery is more than a discard, more of a ret...!

Re: Hawthorn 2017
yeah cloke is an interesting one.
They are both spuds at the moment but at least there was a small period of time where Cloke was one of the best forwards in the comp. So I think thats a better gamble. He would have probably cost less than half what vickery did too

Nowhere near the gamble.
Cloke would have taken a pay cut to join a side that is still looking at premierships with him as the 3rd tall. Vickery got a pay rise and was expected to be the focal point of a side on the slide.

Pretty sure we took him initially with a view of the Rough not getting back. Certainly superfluous to needs just at the moment.

Re: Hawthorn 2017
I would have rather Cloke than Vickery to be honest. At least Cloke can catch, can't kick it though.

Still fascinates me that nobody runs past for the handball rather than him kicking for goal
Cloke is a far better player than Vickery ever will be. I understand the O'Meara gamble but I don't understand the Vickery gamble at all.

I don't know anyone that actually rates Vickery.
It seemed like a dumb move at the time and still does.
