The gin is nice, you just have to add good tonic ( the right one ) and some aromatics ( the right ones ) before you drink it. I don't get it.

Prohibition and Aviation are my two favourites, currently hooking into a local one called 36S that goes alright too.

The Tanqueray and Bulldog gins are the best of the cheaper brands.

Went to Ambleside at Hahndorf the other week, that was pretty good, nice spot, good sip.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

Ditto, went to lot 100 while I was up that way too, both highly rated, I wish I wasn't driving, I wish I had a friend that doesn't drink, then again, I wish I had a friend.

I wish I had friends that didn't drink too, or gamble, I'd be living on the Esplanade if so.

Heading down to Tassie in 16 months, reckon there'd be some good little spots there.

For sure.

I remember as a kid my brother asked the old man for something and he said "no", brother had a sook and the old man said "F*** me, if I didn't have kids I'd be driving around in a porsche right now".
Brother replies "Well if you didn't smoke you'd probably be driving around in a porsche right now"

It was about then the old man pulled over, opened the door and gave him a fair clout across the listeners.

Why do people carry on like a cure for cancer has been announced when a goal is scored?

90 minutes 90 emotions......the chess of ball games.

In all seriousness though......aussie rules was created as a way to keep cricketers fit in winter so realistically when the game was created there wasn't a huge passion for the sport.

On the other hand football was born out of the working class and one of the few ways these people could escape poverty all over the world. Football was also used as a tool to settle arguments etc etc. There are even articles that suggest going back to the origins before it was formalized that losing captains were sacrificed to the gods. Its pretty much always been 'more than a game' from its early conception.
