Hopefully they keep trying.

Whether he’s on their list or not
I can’t see him playing again though

Re: AFL Round 6
Go to last nights footage with 13 minutes to go in the last
Hollands gives away a 6-6-6 warning which the commentators note
Carlton kick a goal pretty much from the clearance and he almost gives away the 6-6-6 with the commentators saying it looks like hollands has no idea where he is meant to be playing.

Re: AFL Round 6
They’re probably technically right he had a mental health issue last night……….physcosis. I’m going to guess it’s drug induced physcosis. Sadly seen to many friends plus my brother act in that exact way. Sadly once the physcosis kicks in chances of coming back are next to none.
It’s absolutely disgraceful that his behaviour wasn’t picked up by staff last night and he didn’t get the help he clearly needed. I have no problem saying the club has also let him down badly by not identifying and it being nationally broadcast because of their failure.
Given the personal experience of loved ones in my life the footage of Elijah on the bench with five minutes to go is heartbreaking and genuinely brought a tear to my eye

Re: AFL Round 6
Sadly, if you're Carlton, that's expected.whufc wrote:That shot at goal in the warm up is pretty disturbing.Lightning McQueen wrote:Check out the 2nd bit of footage on this page.wenchbarwer wrote: I was referring to the article, it says it was a mental health episode.
Carlton staff would have an excellent idea of his mental state, probably as good as his parents at this point in his life as he'd spend 20+ hours a week with these people.
At the first sign of concern, he should have been taken from the field and into the rooms for a welfare check.

Re: AFL Round 6
Somehow, Carlton's goalkicking has gotten worse since Charlie Curnow left. Make that make sense.

Re: AFL Round 6
Good to see Essendon having a real dip again, after all the early fuss about GCS, seems nothing much has changed since late last season

Re: AFL Round 6
Power doing it on the bit and on the way to another Prelim final.
Bergman spoken about in the media during the week, comes out and has a lazy 14 possessions in the 2nd stanza, Hawthorn playing as though they thought they had the game won
