From the bits I’ve seen of Lawrence Mooney haven’t minded him, but he was painful on 360 last night and lol Robbo made sure he knew about it

I watched a couple of minutes of his drivel, he said he's finished either way as the station can't confirm if there will be a show or if there is if he'll be on it.

Same here, that was my perception.

Love him or hate him he's kept himself in decent nick for a 72 year old and has added something to the off field side of the game.

We all need that bit of controversy from time to time and he always backed his word up.

Eddie on MMM Melbourne this morning said, if the Footy Show goes around again next season, that Sam would be part of it, even if an occasional guest, or a one off "special" to recognize Sam's contribution to the show. Love him or hate him, he has been doing it for 25 years.

FWIW - Front Bar shits all over the Footy Show. I'd bee surprised if the Footy Show is around next winter.
