Only the ones with no members.
I'd suspect it will be Melbourne or the Dogs
Or the ones with connections to companies that have a strong profile in Asia.

If you want to go far, go together.

True, I'd definately go if it was Essendon playing you but that has zero chance of happening.
We were offered a heap of cash a few years ago to move a home game to NZ and knocked it back

As an elite athlete, I would be a bit concerned about playing in China with the pollution. Would be interesting to see the affect on the players the following week (or match).

They'll build an air conditioned stadium with a roof in 6 weeks, no problems.

Re: Port Adelaide 2016
Exactly! Where just are they going to play the game? Just bulldoze an inner city highrise aparment block and build an oval / stadium? Isn't that one of the reason's for Melbourne's failed adventure in China? Apart from being called the demons which Chinese culture find a definite no no?
Success is in trying

They have some really top notch soccer stadiums and pitches around the country id imagine they would try to convert one of them

You wouldn't believe how quickly they can make room in Tiananmen Square.

Port have had some shockers over the years, interesting that no $ are being discussed and sounds like this is very early in the picture. Interesting timing also with China economy downturn.

How many sponsorship deals are disclosed to the public?
Can you tell me how much Emirates give Collingwood?
I bet you'll be hard pressed to find many club / sponsor deals exact dollar figures. Ports deal with Renault is said to be "...at least $1.5m over three years" Can't find exact figures, doubt I will.

It's quite remarkable how you can find such negatives when such positives are put in front of you with anything that regards something the other side of Bunnings at Cheltenham.

I'm trying to find out how many millions...

It will be interesting to see how this develops in it's infancy.
Boon- do you see Port gaining financial benefit during this 3 year term? With the cash generated from Shanghai Cred likely to be re-invested into getting these programs/training camps off the ground, Port must be hoping that other sponsors get on board with the potential to get into the chinese market?

Port are hoping that this type deal will put South Australia on the map in the Chinese market
One of the major hopes they see with the deal is that this will help the South Australian government which then in turn puts them in a better position here in SA as well
A lot of the stuff Port does especially in its Power Community Ltd relies on government funding, approval and assistance.
Port see the Power Community organisation as there way to becoming the biggest club in the state off field
