That’s what happens when you take a lackey and install him as list manager despite no experience and then are unable to sack him him for 20 years because of the power and friends he had at the club. Then when he finally announces he is stepping down he sues the club. Top bloke

In fairness as well, the list manager can only bring players in. At that point its up to the football department to develop the players.
Essendon wouldn't have been able to develop the Daicos and Ashcroft brothers if they had been gifted them.

Given Carlton's woes up forward, will we be the ones to take a chance on the big yank?

We need a ready made 2nd ruck also
We’ve made plenty of shit decisions over the last 20 years, what’s one more?

The jigsaw pieces are coming together, and the worlds are aligning. We need a tall for one maybe two years till we find someone else in the market to take that position. I fear that he might be headed our way.

One day I will understand why Carlton let Curnow go but kept McKay but not anytime soon.

Yes Brod, it was exactly that. Doc, we didn't want Curnow to go. He definitely did though.

He would be a good fit with our kick it to the moon style forward entries.

If Tom Campbell and Todd Goldstein are still on a lists this season,Cox deserves to be on one.
Lack of quality back up rucks around currently

I get that BUT you had him on a multi year contract with four still to go.
He is a better player than McKay.

Goldy is a fair bit better than Cox, even at this stage of his career. Plus, his coaching of the young blokes puts him head and shoulders ahead of the other two.

We make a good decision but then follow it with a bad one still.
I don’t know why we let Durdin go but kept Motlop
I much preferred Durdin when fit
