Dunno whether you can say they were un-lucky getting belted like that 2 times in 3 weeks.Just think Adelaide Lutheran were too good and both Elizabeth and Lutherans are clearly the best teams in the league at the right time.Still think Lutherans will do the double, depends where it is played. If it is at Kenilworth like many are predicting i'd definatly pick a Lutheran double.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

well considering that Smithfield B grade have beaten both Elizabeth and Lutheran during the year than is a bit unlucky to get smashed like that.... would of thought and hoped the game could of been closer

Re: Division 5 in 2007!
I'd expect the gf to be played at blair athol (the home of kilburn) as its where last year's was played as well as being close to both sides (ie fitzroy will not have to cross the massive city square mile).
I'd expect a gf with a central and a southern side to be played at panther park aka st mary's.
good luck to all involved.

They've got Salisbury, Kilburn, Campbelltown, St Marys, Hectorville and Payneham to chose from for D3-D6. Depending on the states of the ovals at the minute, and bearing in mind Salisbury can't host A4, I'd make a guess that A4 (Para Hills v Salisbury) at Campbelltown, A5 (Lutheran v Fitzroy) at Kilburn and A6 (Blackfriars v Golden Grove) at Salisbury or Payneham. Maybe the rest to get C grade games?

I think you meant to say 'by a goal or 20'. 111 points. Smithfield knew they had lost it in the 2nd quarter. 2 blokes got red carded, dont think they will play the first couple of games next year.
I went to the game on saturday, and i thought plympton would run right over fitzroy in the last quarter. But to the roys credit, they held on for a solid win. Few injury concerns however?? Any reports on that front??

Haha, thanks finn. 'SAAFL Football Operations Manager'. I'm sure between us all here we could run the football side of the league.

think adelaide might have the edge after a rest for this weeks GF. kilburns oval was like cement in the middle of the ground two weeks ago, little rain so would be the same i expect.

The changerooms are a disgrace/non-existant, & are a health issue.
Will the ACC build you new clubrooms at all?
What is the scenario there?
I am not really sure what the go is with the changerooms, i know they are not that flash. But as far as i am aware, there may be some improvements over the summer break.
I heard that they have applied for a grant to upgrade the changerooms.

9th. Relegated. Struggled to field a B Grade side towards the end of the year. Recruited some older guys from Salisbury North (Vincent, Callaghan etc) but didn't pay off.

Re: Division 5 in 2007!
Not sure if anybody knows, but Leon Karvelis seemed to have pulled his hamstring in the first quarter against plympton and failed to take the field for the rest of the game. We (adelaide lutheran) are expecting him to play. Because which team wouldn't play there leading goalkicker. We know we would. But i just thought i would put it out there to see if anybody knew anything or willing to post something.
