Best places to go are all just out of town these days. If you do go to the Woodshed look for Wolfman the DJ, a Groggie.
I like the elephant just off Rundle St, usually have good cover bands upstairs playing 80s (I'm always amazed at how all the 20yos know all the words there) and pretty good drink specials.

Anywhere on Leigh peel or bank street goes alright if you just want a small bar to have a quiet drink.

I really like la rambla, a Spanish joint with a cool bar and good food

Yeah, I don't really care where we go but the missus doesn't wanna go where there's drunks staggering around spilling drinks on her telling her they know her from somewhere.

We'll stop at a few places until we find the one that plays our music and has a good relaxed atmosphere.
