Re: Other International Cricket
Needed a boundary off the last ball of the innings to get the 200, smacked it for 6!
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

Double hundred in 50 over cricket is huge
yep they are first class "4 day unofficial tests" and list a games.
Geez South Africa have some work to do allowing a bloke to score 200.
See Justin Ontong is still playing. He was average at Test level nearly 10 years ago and he is still getting a run in the 2's
definitely weird having a 34 year old in your A team.
He us there A teams captain. To me what it says is that they have depth issues. If they lost 2 or 3 front line players now they would really struggle.
Just for the record in 2 tests Ontong averages 19 with bat amd 133 with the ball.....

Yeah it does. Just the fact that Ontong s there seems like depth is an issue.

fingers crossed mate. Im sure he will be right, he had a ripper first half of the year last year so more than capable. I have the feeling with Trav once he gets his first SS ton he will rip the comp apart.
Get him on the plane to Zimbabwe!!!

i agree with this. the one shield game i saw he made 95 or something, and looked like the type of batsmen that just looks to dominate. a little like hughes in that regard (though different strength areas). sort of bloke that will make a ton just before tea, then bring up the double before the end of the day.
heres hoping

SACA getting Hughes has been awesome for Travs development. They are very similar players in regards to being strong through point on the cut, Phil had the ability to bat long periods which is something Trav really showed development in last year. Fingers crossed he can bat for more sessions this season and bring up his first ton!

LOL, you'd think someone would have checked that the gap was smaller that the ball.
Couldn't have happened to a better dickhead.

Exactly! I don't f**king understand why blokes at any level have a big enough gap between their helmets peak and grill for the ball to fit through! Yes the chances of it happening are minimal but ffs its a very dangerous thing and there's still that chance of it happening.

In the first picture the ball does look bigger than the gap.
Either way, sucked in dickhead.

But apply a force of 130 km/h it turns out to be a very different story when it strikes at the right angle...
