Johnson also posted on his facebook page that this was crap. So looks doubtful. Even without that statement it would be doubtful. I mean surely you can have johnson and Shaun Mckernan on the same list [emoji12]

Shaun McKernan. If ever there was a player who needed performance enhancing drugs, it's him.

I think Liam Jones also fits in this category.

Very (very) few supporters begrudge their players moving on to the AFL system, that's a myth perpetuated by AFL-centric people. Embracing it (helping young men realise their goals) can prove very beneficial for SANFL clubs.

I think the biggest issue is they are taking players in January it's too late for SANFL clubs to recruit players of the same level
If they recruit earlier than now I'm sure SANFL clubs could recruit other players .

Yeah that kinda goes without saying mate - Very tough on any SANFL club to lose one of their best players at this time of year.

I read it on Jim's post and your post quoting Jim.
Others might read it on my post quoting you quoting Jim.

I doubt they are obliged to pay any compensation.

Probably expect the same compensation as what SANFL clubs give to country and ammo clubs when their best players try to make it at "league level". Just be happy for the player to get an opportunity to play at a higher level and hope they come back when they are finished.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Don't think he can be as he has not been on an AFL list in the past 2 years and doesnt falls within top up players criteria.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Summerton, as good a player as he is, would seem an unusual choice for Essendon given their criteria.

Presumably these whispers have come from his team mates?
