-Dropped of a shocking ball and even worse shot. -nice single -big play and miss to a ball not there -bowled playing on with a carbon copy of the ball before.
He made 11 more than Head.
Head copped a reasonable nut.
Typical Northern Suburbs privileged perspectives against the down-trodden Southern suburbs bloke.
The Northern Suburbs boy could defecate in the middle of the Octagon Theatre and whuffer would blame Alex Carey for slipping him a laxative
Somewhat true haha
In all seriousness did you watch the innings…..
The four balls leading up to his dismissal was extremely disappointing. That was what was so frustrating about his innings. Just didn’t look to be switched on whatsoever and could of/should’ve been out 3 times in his last four balls.
Victoria’s bowling coach complaining to the umpires after play about what we were doing to the ball All of a sudden we were getting reverse swing out of nowhere, they lose 5/40. They have short memories of what their previous bowling coach David Saker did at Glenelg Oval a few years ago Whinging Vics!

Got to admit when I saw us getting reverse swing my first thought was….shit I haven’t seen reverse since the days before sandpaper gate
Which was why I noted there was reverse swing four posts up during play. Was odd to see.
Quality first two days by SA. Amazing what the bowlers can do when there is a decent score on the board. So pleasing to see Drew take his opportunity and the way he batted and concentration he showed was so impressive. The ball looked like it started to go through the wicket a bit, even a ball from Head took a puff of dust late in the day. Pope will be important on day 4 and maybe even in closing out the Vics 1st Innings.

It was Mick Lewis (the one who holds the record for worst 1-day Int'l bowling figures) when he rubbed the ball on the asphalt. Pretty ironic that he was the one whingeing!!

He doesn't bat that way naturally. At lower levels displays a great range of shots. Shield level is probably a fraction above him at the moment if we're being honest. Being picked as a 'project player' to a degree plus balances the XI. Being forced to reel in his game a bit to survive.
Will be interesting to see how he develops over the next couple of seasons
This is Tony Clifton! A name to respect! A name to fear!

David Saker was the head coach.....who then went on to be bowling coach at the time of 'sandpapergate'.....
