Yeah the Salad bar is great, although there wasn't much happening last night at the 'bar'....disappointed.
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Just watched Lockleys beat Golden Grove by 4 goals...good win by them.

Can anyone tell me what the thing on the GG jumper is ? I like the jumper but
having never seen it before I have no idea what it is !

Thanks

It would be a kookaburra, but I agree that it is a god awful jumper. Smac jr played some junior footy out their - the club is as wierd as the guernsey, I can assure you.

I know its a weird club. I met their A grade captain the other week at a party. He was walking around wearing an oven mit! ( good bloke though)

Yeah, because glasses with no lenses in them is so much better than an oven mit!!

This division is still WIDE OPEN. Bring on the finals boys...

I still think west croydon can be a threat if they get through. Although I reckon Mitchell Park might go down swinging and take a few WC boys with them next week..

Mate would you like to tell us all a little more about the game. Im guessing this result would interest a few people around here.

IMO I thought Lockleys were harder at the ball ,and didn't give GG any space or time. I only saw 2 and half quarters, just wandered over (I live next to Oval). Lockleys appeared to have more run in the game than GG, and GG actually led at 3 quarter time by 3 points...Lockleys ran over them and I think GG didn't kick a goal in the last despite having the breeze.
The pressure applied by Lockleys was first class IMO, and GG seemed a little rattled by it. It was a good game.
Would like to give a better wrap, but as I don't know any of the Lockleys or GG players hard for me to put down key players etc etc...

I think your spot on there blue boy, I have a few mates that play for gg (more senior blokes), and spoke to a few of them last night and that was the general feeling, but all credit to lockleys though, the boys said that they were out played all day, no excuses.

huge week this week for div 6.
westminster OS v lockleys - lockleys by 6 goals
Mitchell Park v West Croydon - west croydon by 10 goals
Hectorville v Hope Valley - hope valley to sneak in and get the double chance

according to my rough calculations, west croydon have to win by 7 goals more than lockleys do to make the difference (.58) of percentage. both are away which can often have a bearing on the result.
Last round west croydon by 68 points, lockleys by 80 points. I'd imagine there'd be a spy at each game furiously phoning the scores through.

Yeah absolute beauty of a final round coming into to finals. Any chance of you Uni boys knocking off Golden Grove in the reserves? Would love you long time! By the way, hows Legrand looking for another medal?
