Regarding the assertion that Covid Marshalls have no authority.

Covid Marshalls are prescribed under state legislation in each state. A public health act in this instance in NSW.

Publicans (owner of the business) are not prescribed under the NSW public health act under which the fines were issued. Covid Marshalls are. The business (in this case the publican) recieves a fine based on the fact that they employ and are responsible for employing any and all Covid Marshalls in the business. Thus the fine is for patrons not doing either what Marshalls have told them or by not having an appropriate Marshall set up.

Thus. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was found guilty.

The Magistrate decided to not record a conviction and when no conviction is recorded a penalty does not apply. This is a sentencing option and not a verdict on guilt. There may be a levy to pay plus costs which would not apply for a finding of not guilty.

Covid Marshalls have authority as well as responsibility.

City of Sydney runs down the middle of King St Newton, so non essential businesses are closed on one side of the road and open on the other.

Covid knows not to cross this boudary

Keep believing the news
How many examples do they have to provide you before you start to doubt their BS? Very slow on the uptake around here.

Sydney will be in full lockdown by the end of the weekend. The fear is they have lost control of it and the unlinked cases and exposure sites have spiked

Sorry, which Acts are not law? All of them or just the ones you disagree with?

Queensland tomorrow, SoE runs out Tuesday

I think the Federal SoE is up but i cant find the exact date, could be why its a bit of a wild month all over the country.

Obviously the SA population just bends over and takes it, they dont even need the fake cases for us to accept it
