Dodd was offered increased deal of $150,000 over 2 years but he knocked it back for $200,000 over 3 years.
I really hope pantelis, cornthwaite, watson and bodrusic get moved on.
Might be some quality fury players going cheap

The world game website and Adelaide Now are reporting that Travis Dodd has officially signed for Perth Glory

DAMN, that will only improve Adelaide United!

With a whole off season now to work with I'm confident the North Adelaide connection will have an even bigger opportunity to stuff things up further so I predict AU to slip further down the ladder.

This was always going to happen, if he was going to stay he would have announced it long ago. He can **** off as far as I'm concerned. A Captain should never walk out on their club and besides he doesn't play a full 90 minutes. It was as if he was subbed at half time of the Gold Coast game.

Disappointed with Reid being let go, I don't think Rini ever rated him as highly as other people (myself included). I couldn't believe he was coming off the bench while Hughes kept getting starts in midfield. He will be missed.

Has that Williams from NthQLD signed with anyone?
he'd link up well with Serg and would be a good replacement for Dodd.

He was originally going to go back to the Fury but obviously that won't happen. The guy can really hit the ball from outside the box and he would give us some pace up forward now Leckie is gone.

Believe bodrusic has been released. Heard he had a meeting with the board and was told he was being let go but could attend end of season function. I believe his reply wasnt too complimentary

He really didn't look good enough, but to be fair he only played 4-5 games ?
If they judged Flores after 4 games they probably would've got rid of him too.

Why he was on our list for so long is laughable at best.

Pretty average comments re Robbie.

He has been long time a servant of the club since we started(i believe)

While not always the most stable player in defence he has played some good games and scored some crunch goals for AU in his time at the club. He is obviously moving onto a larger contract in the Korean league, so well done to him.

Also as a mate he doesnt deserve being called a hack etc by keyboard warriors

fair call but he was a very ordinary player at that level of football, only thing he had going for him was that he was tall and would score the very occasional goal from set pieces.

ADELAIDE United has dumped assistant coach Phil Stubbins.
The Reds released a statement this afternoon which said the decision had been made ``as part of the review process of the 2010/12 season and restructuring for 2011/12''.

Stubbins was made assistant coach in 2007 and was part of the Reds' AFC Champions League campaigns in 2008 and 2010.

``Stubbins will continue his football career with Football Federation Australia,'' the statement read.

``Adelaide United thanks Phil for his input as assistant coach and wishes him well in the future.''

The club says it will not make any further comment on Stubbins' departure.
