Wanderers take out NTFL flag

Wanderers Eagles have taken out the 2014/2015 Northern Territory Football League premiership, defeating the more fancied St. Marys by 34 points last night at TIO Stadium. The Chaney Medal for BOG was won by Eagles' Thomas Motlop, the crowd number surged beyond 11000 which is apparently a new record for a premiership decider and that's on the back of a rise in H&A and finals attendances. Over 70000 people have attended NTFL matches in 14/15, 12% above last season and an overall 31% increase over the last five.

Its a shame that the ABC have pulled out... cue for Southern Cross TV to come in, perhaps.
