Arnold Palmer passes away

One of the legends of the game has passed away after battle with illness.

Palmer was widely regarded as one of the greatest players to pick up a set of clubs.

Nicknamed 'The King', Palmer had 62 wins on the PGA Tour, including 7 major victories.

He was one of the original 13 inductees into the World Golf Hall of Fame

He was 87.

The unfortunate death of The King came up on a tv at a site I was at during the week. I overheard a conversation (of which is not allowed) and as a result have been invited to a Golf Day at the start of November at North Adelaide.
The gentlemen who invited me is a member at TTG and plays off 5!!
