Don't worry Turk186, i wasn't saying you guys didn't play well in the first half... i'm just saying you completely dominated in the 2nd half

Did you end up catching up with Pag? I tried having a look out for you... but obviously i had no idea who i was looking for :? haha

I'm a little bored... so here's my prediction for the Div 4 footy finals.

The winner of Golden Grove and Greenacres will beat a rested but rusty Pooraka next week and go straight into the Grand Final.

The loser will beat the winner of Salisbury and Unley next week and come up against a better rested and angry-at-themselves Pooraka in the Prelim, which Pooraka will win.

Therefore the Grand Final will be between the winner of this week's Golden Grove and Greenacres game and Pooraka.

Good luck with that RM !! ;)

By the look of some of the ovals it could come down to who are the best swimmers !!

report is that kingswood is not in the best of conditions and the club has asked for the seniors and juniors if possible to train at different venues.

After seeing Greenacres first-hand on Saturday, they are too good of a unit when on song to not go up to Div 3. The other four will be fighting it out for the other GF spot in my opinion.

I've seen the last 4 of the last 5 or so games of the year for Greenies and they do look good.

Some smooth midfielders and good ball users and have plenty of class. Wright (CHF) has some of the best mits i've ever seen in amateurs and takes almost everything in his area. Forth is just a freak, has an uncanny knack of finding the goals, even over his shoulder from 35 out... ridiculous! Backs are very reliable. Shannon (IIRC) is a gun! spoils or outmarks his opponent and is always taking hangers. Riggs and Pasty both hold down key spots and they don't have too many weak links.

Pace is probably their only downfall, a couple of quicks and they would be just about complete.

one thing they do is power on after half time. they have great engines and obviously worked very hard on fitness which sees them run out games and smash sides in the last quarter. Salisbury saw that on the weekend.

should play in the GF and probably Pooraka as the opponent. the game in rd 14? where the bulls got up by a point was a cracker and i could see them in the big dance. Must admit i haven't seen Grove yet, maybe this weekend i'll get a look. we'll see...

Wrighty was pretty well-beaten on Saturday by Mark Robb, but you're right, can play. And when he wasn't going so well, DR flung Bear down there and he had an impact.

And Goldsmith, even in his mid-30s, is still the best player in the competition when he's fit.

Goldsmith? Are you kidding? Wright is handy, as is Pulteney's Perrie, T.Shepard from the grove is also a smooth mover, but i would have thought you could throw a blanket over players that have more say in the outcome of a match than Goldsmith!

I would think the teams who have played against Greenacres in the last 3-4 weeks would understand my point. He had more of an impact on our game last week than any other player on any side this year, with Skoblyk probably second.

On the contrary, Sheppard did nothing against us second time round (I didn't see the first time). It probably all depends on what you see mate.

Shep actually went into your game with cracked ribs pag so he come off before half time struggling to breath and didn't return. I think he missed a game or 2 after that one...

Plenty of good players on the day out there for all sides. Quite a few have stood out on various occassions but finals is a different kettle of turkey... ;)

I didn't notice Goldsmith at all when they beat us. Nathan Wright was the standout as I said previously and Nassaradine was the next most significant that day.

Talking of finals records, you know who has a phenomenal record at this time of the year? Pag. May I suggest all sides take note, stop the man with the golden touch and you may stop Salisbury! :)

Hey Pag, I heard it's not a bald spot, rather a Solar Panel for the Love making machine? Now struggling for pace I can't get close enough to view it first hand, could you please clarify this fact for me?

Slow work day hey mate? Just counting down the hours until another humiliating 31 loss? ;)

And if you can't keep up with me with the 'pristine' nick that I'm in, you really should call it a day.
