Add Hauritz in as well, he also debuted in 2003.

Edit: Gilchrist played his first Test under Waugh, too.

2nd edit: Katich would not be one of the six, his debut was at the expense of Waugh in the 2001 Ashes series due to injury.

I personally wouldnt read a great deal into that stat S. Waugh had the world in the palm of his hand, a set squad on top of their game dominating the world.

Pontings era has seen the end of the careers of some greats and obviously the trial and error of players to fill the void.
