Ferguson has not done enough at the moment to earn his spot.

Not a bad start against S AF,
At the moment he is injured anyway, but If he was fit I would have him in, the key is to take 20 wkts and on these roads that wont be easy.

First Test:
15 Runs
22 Overs 8 Maidens 1/41
13 Overs 6 Maidens 2/32
Second Test:
0 Runs
10 Overs 4 Maidens 1/22
7 Runs
22 Overs 8 Maidens 1/31
Third Test:
4*
12 Overs 4 maidens 3/25
16 Overs 3 Maidens 0/47
Fourth Test:
13 Runs
27 Overs 7 Maidens 1/102 (South Africa hit 650)
68 Runs
Soo, from what i can gather, his batting was improving as he played more tests.
He bowled poorly once, although the team performed poorly on that occasion conceeding 650.
I know that i'd like to have a guy bat at 8 and be able to hit runs, as well as take the odd wicket and hold up an end. Most times he bowled, he went for only 2 runs per over.

Hilfy might be the perfect bowler for this type of pitch.

Play him for humour value. Never laughed as much as his debut game when he got hit in the scone and retired hurt

I think the pitch may suprise, we havent had the hot baking days for the pitch to dry right out and coming off a wet winter it will be interesting.
The draw is Evens, way way too short, time to LAY it on BF
