this was the market..

D Spriggs 3.00
P Schmidt 4.20
S Thurlow 5.50
P Graham 6.50
R Thompson 8.00
Any Other Individual Jockey 12.00
R Spokes 21.00
G Lynch 26.00

This was there individual rides fixed price
Lynch $13, $12, $7, $16, $21, $5.50
D Spriggs $7, $2.30, $16, $13 and possibly a late scratching in the last that would have been in the market possibly. (not sure what happened)

D Spriggs (at start of day) had 5 rides and was $3 . Lynch had 6 rides and was $26. Why the big difference. There is not a lot of difference in their fixed priced rides?

I didnt back him as I was in a hurry today but this is the sort of stuff I will be studying as of next week.

Great spotting by Big Al i think it was. Great stuff.
And Lynch is a top jock, gets up in many a JC.

Overloaded a simple rule of punting is that you must keeping backing 'overs' to win. Stick with it mate as when you get a couple of big returns in a row you will get your money back two fold. I feel it is just around the corner. It is so handy for us to all watch out for 'suspended' markets or slow agencies and pounce on these 'overs'. Together we can watch out for each other, from 10 am to Noon every day we must be diligent and work as one.

Dodgy what we need to do is keep a record of our daily profit/loss. I will be doing this on Monday and starting again. I want you and others who are serious to keep track. Who could forget the good old days when the BINGO's and CAAA CHHHINNNGGS were a regular occurnace every second day ;)

This is where the conjecture starts brod and you make a valid point.
I presume they would have refunded the people who backed Whitely, Whitely was still left in the market after he had no rides, I recall this because AOJ came into $6 and Whitely was still there at $31. In this case they probably held no money (or maybe only a few bucks) on Whitely so instead of reframing the market and cancelling all the bets they let it ride. However if the $1.20 fav had have pulled out and they were going to lose a fortune as everyone else was $10 or better then would they have cancelled the market? I think so! Those who backed with sportingbet prior to Whitely being taken out (not that he was taken out) have a right to ask for their mony back IMHO.
Brod are the other agencies different with their rules? This is a must know. I remember we chased this up a while ago but it would be great to refresh my memory.

See you all soon

Hey AG, great to hear from you again.

It is my understanding that the only places that has All In Betting on JC's are the TABS.
I have had bets cancelled through Centrebet, Sportingbet and Sportsbet previously and I would doubt they would change the rules as these are a "get out" clause for them. I will had a read of the rules today to confirm and get back to you.

What do you guys think about starting a new thread called 'Jockey Challenge reminders'

A thread which has all of the rules for each betting agency, and where we can also put in tip, advice, reminders, etc.

We can keep profit/loss here, keep track of in-form riders, jockeys who ride well on certain tracks, etc, etc.

but when they take 4 wickets in teh first 5 overs makes it very hard.

Nope, nothing yet OL.

They have received a couple of emails about it, stating Whiteley didn't ride = refund me now.
