Without getting into the specifics of it; no, it wouldn't make any difference to the SANFL or clubs, from what I have been told.
If a sponsor stated they would have nothing to do with the show if I was involved, but would if it was someone else, then to ensure the show kept going, I suppose I would have no choice but to remove myself from it.
Thanks for the thoughts, hondo71; that may be something I will look at as an option certainly.

i think the best thing to do would be produce something similar but put it on youtube- that way a lot more people would be able to see and a lot more people browse that looking for something to wtach as opposed to C31. as mentioned on here and elsewhere quite a few people were interested in the show but couldnt get C31- we all have access to the internet

Good suggestion, May-Z. I wonder where you got that idea from?

I know if I was going to fork out 35k for something I'd want to know exactly what I was getting for my money.
Chris, is that true, could you not give them accurate details?

I could handle the "N" being dropped but if anyone at the SANFL tries to rename the sport "AFL" I'll start war.
Its FOOTBALL, its not AFL.
And that round ball game is SOCCER!

On the latter point, the cost involved in sourcing these figures was prohibitive - particularly for myself, who had already endured significant personal cost to keep the show running last year.
