Waybacks have a very capable Football department, including assistants Mark Aldridge and Paul Goodwin. I am sure that between those guys and Horgs, they will find a solution...

My thoughts are in such a crucial match the club should look at bringing Clarke in . He knows the Pecker game inside-out, knows how to expose and beat them and is a proven premiership coach and has as good record in big games. The WFC has a responsibility to its members to do everything in its pwer to win this Saturday because let me tell you the chances of a side coming from 3rd to win this year will be pretty remote.
No disrespect to the names you have mentioned therealrossco but I think Clarke is the man that can get victory this Saturday.
I would have him at training tonight and I would have him at the team meeting/selection tonight with Horgan and he would be matchday coach.
The Semmler coaching from the boundry didnt work, players were confused and could hardly hear him Semmler talking from the crowd, that is the risk you take when you choose to listen to someone not meant to be involved in the game who is in the crowd (not allowed on oval).
Did Blueys article on Abusers are Losers have any effect on the tribunals decision? Trial by media. These penalties seem awfully harsh

Sporting Pulse any player found guilty of umpire abuse min. 2 weeks.
Horgan on the Bowls Club side with UHF radio or mobile phone
no different to the AFL, I'm still tipping them

The new constitution is going to raise a few eyebrows but lets not forget Horgan went out of his way and approached the umpires and chose some very ordinary words to use.
Gary Downey promoted in the media about abuse towards umpires will not be tollerated and it seems a couple of people chose not to abide and under the new laws 2 weeks holiday.
Let this be a lesson to you all that if you abuse an umpire that the tribunal have no choice but to give you 2 weeks now. You have been warned.
Who wants to go to the football and listen to players and coaches swear at umpires?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

do believe what ur saying cu umpires should not be abused in any way, BUT didnt downey report miller and campbell for wrestling when the central umpire had only given them a yellow card so they could go cool down ( correct decision) maybe a ego problem there

2 weeks means he isn't allowed on the field (or the team sheet), not that he can't coach... :?

Can still do it from the other side of the fence...

You put someone's name down to satisfy the protocol, but they're not actually the one who makes the decisions...

Simple really...

I speaking with someone from the rams the other week and if is not accepted them they might as well close the doors for 2012. Cleve would be going elsewhere for their merger....

at this point in time the only other option would be ports. they are sitting second in the Az and Bz but they are sitting bottom in the colts and minis.

i just hope its not like the darke peak waddikee merger, they did play in a few grand final and won one i think, but not long after that they folded

Ports would be in the box seat.

Is it true that what killed the Peak/Waddikee is that a large number of Waddikee people turn their back and go in the opposite direction?

not sure what killed DPW but when they folded the darke peake seem to drift to cleve way and the waddikee back towards kimba. in saying that a few did end up a rudall and i think a few went central eyre way.

I believe DPW approached Rudall for a merger, Rudall declined, so DPW folded, and in protest, those true to DPW went to Cleve or Kimba to play.

Such families included the Kennys, Humphries, Gerloffs etc.

No verbal abuse or threatening tone was used. Clearly stated that he was dissapointed in their umpiring on the day.
The umpire report was word for word what RH said. Reported for misconduct...could have been much worse if your version was correct cu.
